I usually don't like to reveal this kind of stuff about my stories, but my WWD characters got such great feedback, and I was going to make one of these for my own sake anyways (so I don't forget ;; ), so here! A little peek into my development process. Keep in mind that, obviously, these relationships are for the most part not there in the beginning (except for Fanny and Toony, and maybe Tommy and Felicity were friends before hand [on a side note, I'm thinking of changing it to just 'Tom', since I have too many names ending in a 'y' sound ;; ])

And juuust because I want to develop this more, let's go to it! Let's start with the easy one:

Nikki <---> Adam
Remember how I said I'm relying on KND heavily for influence? Well, just think of Nikki and Adam of the Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 of WWD. (WWD is "Watchword WD", for anyone who didn't read my ramblings on my other post) You can see a slight attraction from the very beginning, and it's just developed over the course of the series. At a certain point, there's no doubt about them liking each other, they're just a source of cute fluff from then. I figure Adam would always drag Nikki around on his crazy adventures, and I have the beginnings of a story of them exploring the underground tombs under the town's library (ZOMGTEMPLEOFTHEFORBIDDENEYEREFERENCE!!)

Fanny <---> Nikki
I just love friendships that would seem completely impossible, because in real life they can tend to be that way! Nikki and Fanny have pretty much opposite interests, but they understand each other and enjoy each others' company. I'm not sure whether they would have been friends before the story starts, but I'm leaning that way. They seem like the type that would grow up together and adjust to one anothers' developing personalities as they get older. Because of this, Nikki is one of the few that can translate Fanny's dreamy ramblings into regular human language.

Fanny ---> Toony
Being the older sister, Fanny acts mostly motherly towards Toony. Still, being siblings, they have those times when they have their quarrels. Nothing that an ice cream bar or churro can't solve, though!

Toony ---> Fanny
Toony's affection is a bit more subtle than his sister's, but it's there nonetheless, and he'll usually run to her for anything, unless they're in one of those quarrels.

Toony ---> Adam
Okay, I totally didn't put this one because I just thought of it, but Toony would definitely look up to him. Hero worship!

Fanny ---> Adam
This really is nothing, I just see her saying offhandedly to Nikki that she thinks he's cute, maybe just to bug her. Sort of a "Hey, Adam's cute, don't you think~? <3" Heh, but nothing much there.

Felicity ---> Tom
She'd probably see him as an adorable thing, like a puppy. And seeing as he's such a social outcast, she'd probably try to work her happy magic on him and get him to branch out. In fact, I think I could see an episode based around that! I can also see her showing him affection, like a quick kiss on the cheek, that would throw him for a loop, but would be unclear whether it actually meant something to her or not. I can see them like Numbuhs 2 and 5, where they are never as blatant as Nikki and Adam, but eventually end up together. (And if you have no idea what I'm talking about 2 and 5 getting together, then you didn't see the final episode and MUST WATCH IT NOW!!!)

Tom ---> Fanny
What can the poor boy do? She's pretty, loveable, cheery, and gives free hugs! Social shut-ins need love, too.

Fanny <---> Felicity
They get along, but don't really "get" each other. In fact, Felicity often needs Nikki to act as translator.

Felicity <---> Tom
I can see them maybe having been friends before being in the group (though not as clearly as Nikki and Felicity). They're both straight-forward thinkers, and I can see them becoming great friends, if not best. In fact, if this were a show, I'd probably ship them harder than Fanny/Tom, even though I knew it wouldn't happen. XD

Felicity <---> Chris
For Chris' first appearance, I see him appearing in a Felicity-centric episode (hence why I have no idea what his relationships with the other members would be). Felicity would find him incredibly annoying at first, but I think she'd respect him for his resourcefulness in the end. They could become pretty good friends if given the time.

Chris ---> Felicity
Huhuh, she's puuuurdyyy...
This would probably stay one-sided. XD I'm sorry Chris! ILU!! There's always a chance!

Felicity <---> Maddie
Oooh, these two would just rub each other the wrong way. Felicity isn't a vain person, but she enjoys her level of leadership, and isn't too good at sharing. She knows she has good ideas, and when they're ignored for someone else's, I bet she could get pretty peeved. Maddie would probably get mad at Felicity for getting mad at her, and thus starts the vicious circle. But in the end, they'd work together to defeat some horrible something-or-other, and would gain a mutual respect. Maybe even become friends eventually!

Maddie <--- Everyone else
I picture her, again, being in a more Felicity-centric episode for her first go, so even though the other characters would be present, their basic function would be to fawn over her so Felicity gets jealous. She'd pop up later, but how that would go requires more thought.

So I know a lot of relationships are still missing. For real, I made up an Excel spread sheet for it. Adam needs a lot of development relationship-wise, as do Tom and Nikki. As for the minor characters, they'll take a lot more thought to develop their relationships. And I still want to do how everyone feels about Cruiser! (and vice-versa)

By the way, random factiod of the day: Adam hates caterpillars. Especially the fuzzy ones.
